I am a non citizen with a good credit history but without a cosigner. most of the loans available for non citizens require a cosigner. I have a full time job with a very large multinational US corporation.

Do I have to put my loans in deferment or would I have to pay them off while I'm in school? I plan on getting financial aid but I have absolutely no idea what to do with my current loan. Before I contact my lender I would like to know what I'm talking about so I don't get the run around.

I have so far narrowed it down to borrow either from Chase or MyRichUncle. My loan will range from atleast $10,000 up to about $15,000. I am open to suggestions of other loan companies. I would really like to have a low interest rate, possibly no origination fees, and payments deferred till atleast 6 months after I've graduated. All ideas are greatly appreciated!

I am thinking about being a Chiropractor...and I want to know how I can get a Scholarship to go to a good college. Also, can one get more than one Scholarship??? Like, if I am a part of 2 clubs that could possibly offer me a scholarship, can I use both. I am very confused. And I really want to get a Scholarship to help me out with my Chiropracting career. Please and Thank you!!!

For white kids that can't afford to go to college but work hard in school and make the grade and have the drive to do better for themselves and just need help with going to college? Because academic scholarships are not available for everyone? What do you think? Please star if you like the question?

I plan to get a BS in the art institute of california - los angeles after 1 year of getting general ed credits in a community college. I will work part time during school to pay rent, but I still need $80000. No one else is helping me pay. I've read that the average salary of a media arts and animation graduates is $37000. I can draw pretty well so I'm sure I'll get a job. I really want to go, but I worried about debt. Would I be able to survive after graduating if I borrowed that much? If I shouldn't borrow that much, what should I do to pay?

I started classes in March and recieved a partial-Pell Grant at that time. When will my eligibility for the next Pell Grant come into effect? Do pell grants work off of Academic-terms (i.e. cover classes during July 1- June 30, then renew) or are they covered by credit-hours? My award letter stated that for my grant I "needed to complete" 1-12 hours, and on July 9th I will have 12 credit hours completed... I think I'm just confused about the entire process. Any help would be appreciated as I've found getting my Financial dept on the phone takes an act of congress and a box of Scooby-Snacks ;)

I want to work while I'm in college. However, I can't seem to be able to because whatever I do (work-wise) it will go onto my financial record, which I have to report to towards the FAFSA which reflects how much financial need I get for school. I can either work to pay tuition, or accept financial aid and not work. In the end it would essentially be the same thing...only one requires working to make ends meet for tuition while the other has you paying the tuition back at a later time.

Is there any chance where one can work but it doesn't drastically reduce the amount of financial aid you get?
