Actually, you pay every Semester or Quarter. Tuition is figured by the number of credit hours you take. There's usually an instructional fee, and a general fee, both multiplied by the number of credit hours. Then, sometimes there are added fees like parking. Most colleges will allow you to make several payments, but you must pay it all before you can schedule for the next term.
