sulfur with iron mixed up, and iron (II) sulfide...

it states that matter is not created nor destroyed, the mass of combination before and after heating (sulfur with iron) should have been the same. What could have caused the % difference?

I am a 27 year old male. I have been working full time for a nonprofit making $33k a year for the last year and a half(before that I worked part time for the same org. making $9/hour) I am also half way to a bachelors degree in finance at a local university. During the past couple of years I have been going part time to school which has worked out ok. I am getting to the point now where I really want to finish my degree and go to school full time and get it over with!so I am considering quitting my job at the end of this year or going to a part time position again so I can give my all to finishing school. Financially, I have $30k saved up and my rent and billls are very low. . I also make a few hundred bucks a month selling on ebay on the side which pays my bills. What advice would you give me? I am a very smart person but in the past have made some bad choices when it comes to school work etc. I am going for a degree in finance & accounting. What should I do?

I dont know where to start, the first thing is that I'm not very bright like I got kicked out of a prestigious all girls catholic school when I was gr.5 (I'm second year high school now) and I'm studying at a small school regular school. (Some of the seniors get into pretty great colleges so it feels good to know that) and my mom told me yesterday (In public at shakey's) that I'm going to be a burden to my sisters (My sisters are looking at really bright futures) when she and my dad dies, that after I got kicked out she left my academics alone (I'm doing normal like B+ to C- after I got kicked out for some reason) and she said that my phycologyst said that I'm a slow learner and that my other one said that I have trouble concentrating. She said she made me try for so many different things like gymnastics, tennis, dancing and I fail in everything she said I might as well learn how to clean the house while they're gone so that I'll accuire some skills so that I can be a maid.

omg! I had to do 75 questions for homework in math and am down to 30, but need help with these. please don't just give me the answer, please show mw how you got the answer. thank you.
1)evaluate: 2+4(6-10 divided by 5) is it 24 or 18?
2)simplify: 2m+4m(6m -7) +9 is it negative 19 over26?3)4 over 5x +2 =14 is it 15?
4)i have no idea for this one! solve for y:6x-5y=-15
5) solve: -2 over 3w is greater than or equal to 6
6)solve the porportion: 3x over 5 = 9 over 2
7) solve: 4d+5 over 7 =7
8)what is the range for the solution set of the eqation 6x+3y=12 if the domain is (-3, 0, 2)
9)evaluate:x=(3) to the second power. is it 9?
10) solvefor y: -8x +2y=10 is it -1
11) simplify: -3x-5(x+2)+11

Especially when you start teaching late in life, is it fair to reduce your social security benefits 60% even though you paid into social security over 20 years, and even though you still pay into social security when you have to work at Wal-Mart to pay your bills after you retire from teaching???? What kind of a "windfall" is that???? IF YOU ARE THINKING OF SERVING YOUR FELLOW MAN AS A TEACHER, be advised that there will be no reward, sympathy, or respect for doing so once you turn 50! I can still do NCEA and get the qualificatons i need to get into university, but my mum doesnt really understand. She believes in conventional schooling. I live in New Zealand and we dont have virtual schools on the internet, but we can get correspondence school, which is the same curriculum that the schools do anyway.
I go to a Private school, which is alright, but i have pretty crappy teachers and our classes are streamed, but not very well. I just want to be able to work at my own pace , without having to wait for everyone to finish.
