Just because there is no oxygen in the room doesn't mean there isn't any other gas (Case in point, air is 78% nitrogen, 14% oxygen, and a slew of something else). Therefore, while the room may have no oxygen, it could very well have some other gas for the fan to act on.
So, yes, a fan would work as long as there is some sort of gas/fluid in the room. However, without oxygen, the occupants of the room would be dead and unable to know the fan was blowing: "If a tree falls in a forest, does it make a sound?"

yes. The fan moves air not oxygen. The room could be filled with hydrogen and it would still move.

So long as there is still air, it would. It might not do anything in a vacuum though.

It would not only float in the air, but if pluged in, the blades
would rotate, but if there is "no air" to circulate, you would not
get any air blowing. This is no longer rocket science. <}:-})
