I can still do NCEA and get the qualificatons i need to get into university, but my mum doesnt really understand. She believes in conventional schooling. I live in New Zealand and we dont have virtual schools on the internet, but we can get correspondence school, which is the same curriculum that the schools do anyway.
I go to a Private school, which is alright, but i have pretty crappy teachers and our classes are streamed, but not very well. I just want to be able to work at my own pace , without having to wait for everyone to finish.

Just explain to here, and I'm not sure if it is the same in New Zealand as in America, but universities don't perticularly look for "grades" as a mainstream for students, they look at a test which is given to all students(in my state) and judge collectivelly at those instead of "grades" because of the fact that most schools unless a private instittion wont teach what needs to be taught. So just tell her that you could be learning more for specifics and of things at your pace wether it be faster or slower than what the school you are in can do.

Only downside you don't get the social interaction unless you are an outgoing person.

It depends on your age to some extent, since there are probably legal requirements stopping you from leaving school unless under her supervision.

Consider whether she works outside the home and needs to know you are supervised and safe while she is away.

If you have 3 or 4 years to go at school, ask if you can study one subject for a year to show you can do it successfully. Then maybe she will believe you have the patience and discipine.

Maybe she fears you will become introverted adn lose social skils - are you involved in eg some sporting or other group that will show her your life is well-balanced?

Good luck.

First, your grades must already be outstanding.
Second, you must be mature & dependable enough.
Third, you need to find good reliable tutors.
Your Mum needs to be convinced that all of these apply;
& that you can & will work without supervision.
She may not be able to help you study herself;-{
& therefore be concerned that you'll fall behind.
Private school is expensive enough, private tutors are more.
