A freight train leaves Kansas City and travels due west. A passenger train departs at exactly the same time on a parallel track and travels due east at a speed that is twice the speed of the freight train. After seven hours the trains are 945 miles apart. How fast is each trian traveling??

How do I go about solving this?? I tried to read one line at a time, but it is to overwhelming.

Which is better, I am a biology major at the moment. I am planning on transfering to a new university by next year, I will be a junior. I am doing some research on the two universities to decide which one to go to. I'm attending stony brook and there are many things i don't like so far, and some stuff i do, but cause stony brook is like a science school, i want to study business or just not medicine, health related, i want to transfer. so should i stay for a year or two, fill the general requirement, (courses) and then once i know what i want to do, i transfer? good idea or bad idea... thank you...

I'm reading 'How to Get Rich' by Felix Dennis at the moment. In the chapter about luck he begins with the quote made by "many army chaplains that have seen bullets fly".

It goes like this:

"There are no atheists in the foxholes"

Just in case you don't know what a foxhole is, it's a hole dug out in the ground to give a sniper for instance, cover from enemy fire.

Sorry if I seem stupid but I can't figure out what it means. Can anybody help me?
