In CA, can you get an AA in any subject you chose?

You can get an Associates degree in any subject offered as a major by your particular school, so if they don't offer a curriculum in it, you can't get a degree in it. Also, the AA refers to the Associate of Arts, so if you wanted to get on in, say, chemistry, it would be an AS.
