I am 25 years old, married with no children. When I was a child, I always wanted to be a vet. As I got older, there was no money for expensive college, so I went to a local community college and got an Associates degree in Marketing. I would still like to work towards becoming a vet, but don't know where to begin. There are colleges in my area that have "marine biology" programs, but non that I can find that have "pre-vet" programs. Do I have to start with a pre-vet program, or could I get a "pre-med" degree? We have a mortgage and my husband has a good job and I make decent money, so we just can't pickup and move to a closer school...atleast for several years. I live in the Savannah Georgia area. Suggestions? Comments? Is it too late for me? I found a college that would take my whole AAS as transfer credit, leaving me with only 2 years to obtain a bachelors degree in management...would a vet school accept a bachelor's degree? Should I get a job at a vet's office?

I'm going into my senior year of high school and am looking foward to applying to schools in London. My family is not rich, I haven't had the best grades but am going to try harder than ever this next school year. I just got back from London and basically realized that I couldn't live anywhere else. Any tips? Where should I apply? Any helpful websites?? A lot of people have said that this isn't realistic, but I'm not going to let anything stand in my way. Please help!! Any help is appreciated.

I would like to specialize in one of these but I couldn't find any info by googling. The only thing I found was KU who has sonography and nuc med, but I'm not really interested in either of those. Anyone know?

I interviewed there 5 years ago. I thought the interviewers to be quite stuffy, and not at all friendly or welcoming. I drove 8 hours for the interview, only to be told within the first 20 seconds that I was much less qualified and educated than most of the other candidates! Now I have another interview. What does Duke want in an employee?

BTW, years ago my roommate had an interview with Duke to attend undergrad school--they told her during the interview that she was "not Duke material"!

Your experience and knowledge on the subject are appreciated.

Is "hung" as a verb always in the past tense? As an adjective, do you say "hung jury" ? Do you say "hungman" or "hangman"?

I have a 2.5 highschool GPA and scored a 22 on the ACT test.

I'm worried that I won't be able to get into a college.

BTW, I'm in no way interested in community college.

Thanks,

Ryan

I'm really REALLY having a hard time with my economics class right now and I still have time to drop the subject (get a "W"). But I'm worried this might look bad in my transcript when I'd be applying for a job in the future. Although, it IS better than getting an F right? Advice please, not lectures! =) And just an FYI, I had two D's in the past semester. So I hope right now I'm doing the right thing.
