Yes, we need to put a comma after we write additionally. I don't know the exact reason bcoz i m not a english professor but it seems as it needs comma after every use.

No. Not always. I like pizza and hamburgers. However, if you place a second "I" in the second part, then the sentence can be reduced to two sentences. In this case, you need a comma. I like pizza, and I like hamburgers. I think this is what you were referring to.

Or a period. Depending where it's placed. At the beginning of a sentence, a comma. At the end of a sentence, a period. I'm just being technical. Like for example, SC's reply. he has a period at the end.
