Right now I am 14, I have taught myself html, am learning css, and am taking some computer programming classes..

I have seen that you can take an exam and get certified that you know html and other languages..

Would this look good on getting into college and other things if i would take these exams (i plan on going into the navy under the medical field) even though they really don't fit what I want to be?

A coworker told me that going to a big name school helps a lot when it comes to getting jobs. I am thinking of going to the Johns Hopkins University, Tulane or staying at Univ. of South Carolina to get my Masters degree in public health. However, tuition would be really expensive at Johns Hopkins so I was wondering whether it is really worth it to go to a big name school?

I am a student going into my senior year and I have college applications to consider. However, I am not sure, despite much research, which college is the best, out of the following colleges (which would all be appropriate for me): Bloomsburg University, Juniata College, Lock Haven University, Shippensburg University, Slippery Rock University, and St. Francis University. All of these colleges have my intended major (Secondary mathematics education) and the 2 sports that I play (track & field and cross-country). Since I couldn't figure this one out by myself, I decided I would come to all of you.

I am working on a paper about Frankenstein. This is my 4th one, so I have quite a bit of info I can gather from previous papers and encorporate into this one...

I am looking for differences of Frankenstein then, and now.... any differences. Could be on looks, plot etc.

Also, how Frankenstein continues to evolve and is forever embedded into our culture.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My brother just made a 33 on his ACT and likes the good weather in Florida, but all the schools seem sub par academically (UF, FSU, UCF).

Are there any liberal arts colleges in Florida?

I am a incoming Berkeley freshman majoring in Microbial Biology at CNR (College of Natural Resource). But i want to change my major to Neuroscience at L&S (Letters and Science College). Is it a good idea to change my major? I am going for a pre-med course.

CNR is said to be the most flexible, better for small-learning, and convienent for pre-med pre-reqs. L&S is said to have more req than CNR, more competitive, and a larger learning community (student to teacher ratio is bigger than ratio of CNR). I am confused....what should i do ....any advice? Is transferring to CNR to L&S easier? HElp please!?!?!?!?

I've been in the process of choosing between high schools, and I finally settled on one, but I still have thoughts of the one I turned down. I wonder what it would be like to go there, etc.

How do I stop thinking of what the other thing might be like, and focus on what I chose??
