I'm a student at North Texas, (junior year). I transferred from Oklahoma state because I didn't think out of state tuition was worth undergrad. Point being I'm looking at grad school at OSU in a year 1/2 or two after i finish undergrad. Do you all think for business, an MBA is really worth it. I personally beg to differ, in fact am looking to move to New York city or chicago and if ever go back for the mba later? Any advice on this?

My daughter is 4 years old, and we send her to a Convent School for LKG. Her problem is KEEPING SILENCE with her Class Miss, but she speaks with all her class mates and even with other sisters and teachers. At home she speaks well and plays well. But she refuses to talk to her Class miss alone. We as parent advised her often and she do not activate our advice. Please counsel us what we should do.

Why does the sun keep on shining?
Why does the sea rush to shore?
Don't they know, it's the end of the world.
Cause you don't love me anymore.

Why do the birds go on singing?
Why do the stars glow above?
Don't they know, it's the end of the world.
It ended when you said goodbye.

=)

I recently moved from the Philippines to the US. I can't speak English as fluently as the other citizens here in the States. I'm afraid that they'll make fun of me because:

1. I may pronounce some words wrong
2. I look different than most people here.

I desperately need tips on fitting in at a new school. My old school was an All-Girls-School so I don't have much experience with boys. I really want to make a good impression to the other students. Also, do you have any tips on finding your classroom? Your help will be really appreciated!

I've noticed somethig, you know the "we use ten percent of our brains" statistic of course you do, I was wondering why of all things, one hundred percent of all of all human beings on the planet use a perfectly even percentage of their brains, that's just suspicious, I haven't seen any study regarding that, nor have I heard of the scientist who might have made that original quote, it's uncanny and when you think about it stupid.

There s also the irksome 90 or whatever percent of people fear public speaking more than death, don't even try to blame rounding on that one. I've never seen an official study on that one.

Those are just too widely quoted and until now, almost completely unchallenged to be wrong. Right?

I started college last year in a rural area. When I finished my first year I realized that the enviorment wasn't for me and that I really disliked it!! My major was marketing, but I wanted to do Advertising and they didn't have that major. Many people are telling me Marketing is a better major, but I really want to do Advertising and go to school somewhere else!! I just want to make a smart decision that will put me on the best career path and still make me HAPPY!! What should I do???

I need a word that flows well with this statement: The "(blank)" King". I want it to mean somthing like the king that hasn't been recognized as a great, or hasn't been declared king yet. A word starting with "Un..." (i.e. UNdeclared) would be best, but any and all answers are accepted. Thanks in advance!

So many words I thought of are synonyms of "okay" or "good", i.e "satisfactory"
I'm not looking for C+, or 2 and half stars, ect. So please give me some thoughtful answers!
There's a lot of movies, restaurants, books, and bands that I would love to describe, but they seem better than okay, but not living to the standard of good.
