To develop information system for an organisation secondary data need to be gathered from organisation concerned itself, like What was their previous information system?, How new system is replaced?, How employess are trained for new system?
If one is planning to develop MIS they need to work with incharge system analyst or General manager of the company to know regarding the internal functioning of the organisation
One may refer books like MIS by CSV Murthy or MIS by Jawadekar or MIS By Murdic & Ross( where web sights details are given)to know the essentialities to be folowed in developing infromation system.There are many software companies working for developing MIS for organisations who demand charges for consultancy.
