Iam an arabian Egyptian man (communication Engineer) ). I graduated from american univerisity but in my country . this certification not from american univerisity in EGYPT but it comes from USA from the univerisity of the district of columbia (UDC), according to the agreement between my univerisity and the univerisity Iam Excellent in English and in my field .
It isnt available for me to travel to USA . so what the solutions can i do to enter USA and have a a good jop .
not the annual green card lottery . please answer in details

A teacher friend of mine in Texas says that she only gets 3 weeks of summer vacation because after school gets out, she's got meetings, paperwork, etc. Can that really be true? I've considering teaching in Texas, but really prize my summer vacation to be able to study abroad and visit family. Three weeks just doesn't seem like enough to me when you consider that teachers usually put in more than 40 hours a week, year round with no extra compensation.

I'm becoming a H.S. Senior. I am ranked number 27 of 511 students which places me the top 10% of the class (5.28%). I took 8 classes instead of 6 or 7 since my sophomore year. I've taken 1 AP and 2 Honors classes in my junior; expecting 2 AP and one Honors in my senior yr.

Other info:
SAT I: 1670
SAT II BIO-E: 680 MATH IIC: 630
Weighted GPA 3.89
School String Orchestra for 3 Years
President of the Taiwanese Club
Board member of the school's dragonboat paddeling team
Engaged in journalism
Cameraman for the schools news network
Community Service - major San Francisco events including Bay 2 Breakers + sf marathon
Going to join fencing + 2 more clubs.
Eligible for UC Eligiblity Context
Was nominated for internship at UCSF but was rejected!

Also I haven't done anything special this summer except go to Taiwan for a family emergency, which was more important than summer school and jobs.

So What UCs can I get into? My hopes are either Davis or UCSD. Thanks for your help!

So im 19, i just finished my first year of college. i skated by with a's and b's with not too much effort. i am in summer school and this is hard! it makes me not want to be in school. i know i can do it, and maybe its cuz its summer and its so rigorous. Cops make dam good money, and you only need to be 20 to take the test and 21 to get hired. i live in san francisco. I was thinking of going to school until i turn 21. but sometimes i just want to quit school all-together. i mean, i am majoring in nursing and i hate my nutrition class; which is not a good sign. being realistic, i dont want to be in school for years and years. cops make like $73,000 starting salary and have good benifits and all of this great stuff. a part of me wants more from myself though, like more ambition, ya know? but then again a part of me just wants the money and thats basically why im going to school anyways - to get a degree, and hence, make money. i would be a good cop, b/c i am a very fair guy. advice?

I'm wondering if I can get a student loan without a cosigner. Sallie Mae says no. I have one loan, but not for much. My parents aren't very helpful and aren't willing to cosign. Does anyone know of any decent lenders? I'm a dependent which is holding me back, however my credit score is above average. Any advice is appreciated.
