Right now I am 14, I have taught myself html, am learning css, and am taking some computer programming classes..

I have seen that you can take an exam and get certified that you know html and other languages..

Would this look good on getting into college and other things if i would take these exams (i plan on going into the navy under the medical field) even though they really don't fit what I want to be?

It would impress me! It would show me that not only were you interested enough to learn, but you were disciplined enough to prepare for the exam even though no one was forcing you to do it. That's a great start for a 14-year old.

It couldn't hurt. I'm pretty sure that those things would help you on your resume in the future because one of my best friends is certified in a bunch of that stuff and she makes more money now at 19 than I will ever make.

Absolutely, especially if you're planning on combining medicine and computer science!
