my old one doesn't seem to be working ( http://dico.isc.cnrs.fr/dico/en/search ), what are some other good synonym search sites? i've googled for some but most of them aren't very good. thanks.

google "synonyms" and go to the first link it is like www.dictionary.com and www.thesaurus.com but for synonyms i use it all the time good luck.

A thesaurus will give you synonyms. You can buy Roget's Thesaurus, a treasure to keep forever, or you can Google "synonyms." I find the book better, though and surprisingly, faster.

Although I wouldn't necessarily submit poetry there, poetry.com is a good site for synonyms, antonyms and rhyming words.

I am a novelist and I use www.thesaurus.com. But check my spelling...don't worry, I have a good editor..
