Here is a worldwide reverse phone directory, if the phone number is not unlisted you should be able to find it with this link.
Just input the phone number with the area code and it will find the persons name and address for you.

You can search the phone number on the Internet and if it's listed, you can get the address. Start by doing a People search and follow the directions.

You can narrow down the area by consulting The Phone Book Companion. Say, for example, the phone number you have starts "0121" that is Birmingham. The next part of the number tells you which part of Birmingham, so 0121-200 is City Centre and Hockley area; 0121-333 is the Aston area of Birmingham; 0121-414 is Selly Oak area of Birmingham.

Some web sites may offer free "reverse lookup". Reverse lookup is where you type in the phone number and the computer looks up the name and address. Try doing a google search on reverse lookup, address lookup, or name phone research.

If you know the address then you can get the telephone number. Don't know if it works the other way though...
