alright i have a baseball traveling west at 3.8(m/s) and a bat hits it with a force of 0.6(N) and the resulting velocity of the ball is 4.2 (m/s) in the East direction.

I need to fin the Mass of the baseball. To do this, I used the equation
I=deltaP
I got an answer of 13.3g - but I am not sure i used the right equation. Any ideas??

I am in grade ten (Ontario,Canada), and find the math extreeeemely easy. I know I'm young, but are there any good sites (free..hehe) that are extremely good at teaching calculus...I am interested in trying it out, even if I do ultimately find it too complicated. (I've already taken a peek at wikibooks...but I would prefer something else. Also it would be nice if the site offered pre-calculus as well:)) Thanks!

please explain how to do that one ^ step by step. i mostly get how substitute the y when it starts out with a y (y = _x + _) but i need help with making everything equal y and putting it into the original equation.

if you could give me an answer for some of these too it would be great....

0.5x + 0.6y = 5.4
substitute y with -x + y = 9

15x -10y = -80
subs.'t y with 6x + 8y = -80

-3x + y = 10
subs.'t y with 7x + y = 20

x - 8y = -40
subs.'t y with -5x + 8y = 8
