I work in Bristol (UK) and the city is at the moment having a new shopping centre built, originally it was going to be called Merchants Quarter - but some people said it was too closely linked to the slave trade (personally I thought those in the slave trade were traders not merchants) Any way the new name has been broadcast on TV and Radio as Cabbot's Circus. Cabbot after John Cabbot (a local lad) who discoverd Newfoundland. So far every one who has heard of this name Cabbot's Circus thinks it is a load of bullocks so if you had to come up with a name for this new shopping centre what would you call it? Bear in mind it must have Cabbot in it. also what do you think of the name Cabbot's Circus?

i am able to do work experience for an advertising firm over a uni break that goes for just under a month. Therefore I can only manage to do about three weeks tops of work experience there. the flight to get to where the firm is will set me back about $1000. i will be staying with a friend so accomodation is not a concern. it will be 9-5 and it's a somewhat famous advertising firm.
Is a three weeks unpaid work experience at a famous firm good enough to blow a $1000 on, and will it be significant at all on my resume? I am just concerned whether my future employer will think that three weeks was too short to be a notable work experience.
