I am sorry to say that i dont agree with you.I think it still plays a major role in our lives.India's economical infrastructure is supported by it not to mention our stomach

Yes, agriculture does have a role even today agriculture is used to grow our food & in some ways used to build our houses.

yes! how else would food be provided?
the EU spends lots of money on subsidies for farmers to produce food (CAP - Common Agriculture Policy) to ensure that there is enough and that they can provide for themselve if needed...usually this ends up with lots of wasted food though..."food mountains" from overproduction....
