First role = 1/2 (of the numbers on the die, half are even)

Second role = 1/2 (the first roll does not affect the second)

The odds of getting even numbers for 2 consecutive rolls, however, is 1/2 times 1/2 = 1/4. (.5 * .5 = .25)

The odds of getting even numbers for 3 consecutive rolls is 1/2 times 1/2 times 1/2 = 1/8 (.5 * .5 *.5 = .125)

3 of the six numbers are even, right? So that's half. You have a 50% chance. It doesn't matter that you roll it twice. This answer is just a simplified version.

1:2
The odds don't change no matter how many times you roll. Each roll has the same 1:2 odds.
