People constantly say that homeschoolers are somehow less educated or are emotionally disturbed??
Why haven't people accepted the fact that homeschoolers are very well off? And that compared to the number of children who are failing in public schools, the percent of homeschoolers who dont fare well is only fractional?
*arrr*
No matter how civilized and patient I am, I can't help but toally fly off the handle.....how about you?

My younger sister has been accepted to both architecture programs, but has no clue which school to choose. I attend UIC for pre-med and would not recommend it to my mortal enemy, but I know nothing of the architecture school so I will not outright condemn it. Both are around the same price range and student population. Chicago trumps in location, although Urbana probably has a nicer campus.
It really comes down to quality of teaching and prestige of the program, I guess. Which do you think is better for architecture: UIC or U of I ?

I know if a character speaks for more than 3 lines you would indent, and then write exactly what the character says without any quotation, and then say the act scene and line numbers from the play, such as

Towards him
I made
but he was
aware of me
(I.i.136-149)

But what If I wanted to quote different parts of speech of the same character. How would I list the line numbers? Would I do it like this:

But he, his own affections'counselor, Is to himself-I will not say how true-
But to himself so secret and so close
So far from sounding and discovery...
Could we but learn from whence his sorrows grow,
We would as willingly give cure as know.
(I.i.138-141,144-145)

Is this correct, would I add a comma, and then list the other line numbers? PLease help me.

Have you ever cheated in an exam? How did you do it? Did you get away with it? How was your mark improved by cheating? Was it worth the risk?

My friend used to keep notes in his shoe, then go to the bathroom. I once was an exam invigulator and found somebody with a mini set of help notes and nothing ever happened to him. I was amazed.

I can't help but notice the bad english, the misspelled words
and the like. Someone asked if our educational standards
are being lowered. I wondered then if this is not an indicator
that the standards are in fact lower. What are your thoughts?

There isn't a doubt that science is the future. There is nothing else more essential for the advancement of society in the long run. The only way America can remain at the top is if it's science and technology is the most advanced. The problem is, from my experiences in high school, it seems as if many students just don't seem to be interested or motivated to pursue careers in science. This problems is becoming ever more pressing, with other countries catching up to us economically, and now with grant cuts and research restrictions imposed by the US government. How can we motivate these students to pursue careers in science?
