im thinking about doing and LVN program for now and than going into an Rn program but i want to know if you have to still do the pre reqs it requires to be an RN

You don't do the RN pre-reqs til you need them.
You should be able to do just the requirements for the Practical Nursing program. Usually things like CNA class, CPR class, Anatomy & Physiology 1, Developmental Psychology, Written Communications, Oral Communications. Those are the ones I think think of off the top of my head. You may need a math class too.

When you go into RN, you will need Advanced Anatomy & Physiology, Microbiology, Sociology, maybe Econ, etc.
