I know if a character speaks for more than 3 lines you would indent, and then write exactly what the character says without any quotation, and then say the act scene and line numbers from the play, such as

Towards him
I made
but he was
aware of me
(I.i.136-149)

But what If I wanted to quote different parts of speech of the same character. How would I list the line numbers? Would I do it like this:

But he, his own affections'counselor, Is to himself-I will not say how true-
But to himself so secret and so close
So far from sounding and discovery...
Could we but learn from whence his sorrows grow,
We would as willingly give cure as know.
(I.i.138-141,144-145)

Is this correct, would I add a comma, and then list the other line numbers? PLease help me.

as quickly as I quoted i continuously began a sparkling paragraph and indented the quote, if its long and made it italic and in basic terms used single citation marks. you are able to take out of a number of the quote like particularly of writing all of it out like this... George continuously had to remind Lennie what to do and repeat training to make effective he understood. He advised him "i prefer you to come again superb right here and conceal interior the comb" and whilst Lennie repeated it, so did George, checking he understood "are you able to keep in mind that". Its extra effective to combine your rates into your essay making use of PEE.. ingredient data and then explanation. You get extra marks for that than in basic terms typing out an entire paragraph. Paraphrase once you are able to and in basic terms use what you prefer. good good fortune
