I know if a character speaks for more than 3 lines you would indent, and then write exactly what the character says without any quotation, and then say the act scene and line numbers from the play, such as

Towards him
I made
but he was
aware of me
(I.i.136-149)

But what If I wanted to quote different parts of speech of the same character. How would I list the line numbers? Would I do it like this:

But he, his own affections'counselor, Is to himself-I will not say how true-
But to himself so secret and so close
So far from sounding and discovery...
Could we but learn from whence his sorrows grow,
We would as willingly give cure as know.
(I.i.138-141,144-145)

Is this correct, would I add a comma, and then list the other line numbers? PLease help me.

I would, to avoid confusion, split them up into seperate quotes.

"The character says:

But he, his own [...] and discovery
(l.i. 138-141)

Only to ask a little later: "Could we but learn from whence his sorrows grow/We would as willingly give cure as know"(l.i. 144-145)"

as without delay as I quoted i continually began a sparkling paragraph and indented the quote, if its lengthy and made it italic and really used unmarried citation marks. you're in a position to take out of truly some the quote like fairly of writing all of it out like this... George continually had to remind Lennie what to do and repeat practise to make helpful he understood. He cautioned him "i favor you again awesome proper the following and cover interior the comb" and at the same time as Lennie repeated it, so did George, checking he understood "are you able to do not forget that". Its more suitable helpful to combine your costs into your essay employing PEE.. element documents and then rationalization. You get more suitable marks for that than truly typing out an entire paragraph. Paraphrase once you're in a position to and really use what you want. reliable reliable fortune

Every thing in a quote is in quotations. You may repeat some part that you would put in quotations, say something else and go back to quoting and put the quotations in.
