I remember the commercial with Wodsie owl taking the first 2 licks as bites and on the third he licked it and gave the stick back with the answer as three not two

I remember the advert Tootsies did back in the seventies. A little kid was walking through the forest and asked wise old owl how many licks and he answered, "Let's find out. (taking it) One, two, and"...crunch! He ate it. Handing back the stick he said, "Two."

So, this wise old owl says the answer is two.
