To start with, most of their backpacks are REALLY heavy. The wait to cross the street lasts 2 minutes and there are about 30 kids waiting to cross at a time. It would be VERY nice to take the backpacks off for 1 to 2 minutes while waiting, and yet NOBODY does it. WHY???

Backpacks are designed to carry stuff from place to place, on a person's back. So I don't get it: Why can't anybody take them off when they're not walking? There is no practical reason to wear them while just STANDING.


Can you explain why NOBODY takes their backpacks off while waiting to cross the street?

while my girls have been in college. My daughter is a senior and graduating from college in May and going on to graduate school. Can you apply for financial aid as a graduate student? I just want to know if its also available to graduate students, or is it only undergrad. Thanks so much.

During the "American Revolution", there were two sides, the people who supported the Declaration of independenc(or the idea of freedom) and the ones that didn't (loyal to the brtish king). What were each side "called" patriots...militants...Tories.... dunno?? And what were there reasons or arguments for choosing that side? I am writing a personal statement, I have heard to avoid using " I ", but this is very dificult to actually do,it must include at least 1000 words. For those who agree that true understanding of biology requires knowledge of chemistry, which in turn requires physics knowledge; and that physics should be taught before chemistry and chemistry before biology, I have a question.

Assuming I hadn't taken any biology, chemistry, or physics classes in high school, but wanted to become a doctor or scientist, what courses should I take first. I understand that since "Physics is the basis for understanding the more abstract concepts introduced in chemistry and biology," it might be wiser to begin with physics courses and end with biology courses. Although that seems like a more logical order than taking biology 1st, chemistry 2nd and physics 3rd; the math requirements of those science classes seem to run in the opposite direction. Physics usually requires the most math. Knowing this, should I take all my math classes up to calculus first, then start with physics and then go on to bio and chem? Or what?

Guys, I need to expand my vocab.
To get a job, you need a good vocab.
Well, I want to get more serious and work on expanding my vocab.
My Teacher, is always using big words.
I also get off the subject when writing and talking. I dont think I put/build my sentences right.

Is there any free programs or websites? It really does not need to be free, but I need some advice.
Reading everyday does NOT work.
They say it does, but it doesnt!
It might but not for me.

I need help.
