It's so annoying, and unbelievable lazy of them! I understand why people do it when sending a text - you need to use as few characters as possible - but why do it when you're replying on here? Don't they know how to spell?!

For my effective writing class I have to write a 9-12 page ( long I know!) persuasive paper. Well it's not due for 9 weeks thankfully but I need to decide on a topic. We are not allowed to use highly controversial topics such as "legalization of marijuana" or "abortion" and it can't be too broad of a subject such as "depression" so I am having a hard time deciding what I can write about. All suggestions welcome!

So I am getting financial aide and a Pell grant. I also have a scholarship for a measly $1000. I still have a HUGE gap of unmet needs. How can I get more money for college. I'm leaving in 25 days! I do not have very good credit. Also, I would work but Im in school Monday-Friday from 8:30-5:00pm. WHAT CAN I DO?!

I am a volunteer for a free tutoring program at my college and I was paired up with a 5th grader who needs help in reading. I love literature and I have no problem finding materials, but I'm having difficulty thinking of how to approach the sessions. Do I just listen to her read and correct her for two hours? I don't see how that would help or get her at all... Sessions start next week. HELP?!

I would really like to know the requirements to try out for the University of Alabama Crimsonettes. (In Tuscaloosa, Alabama)I have wanted to be one for a while and I just, at this point would like to know the specific requirements. Like what tricks they want to see. Every year in P.E. for six years we have been made to run a test called the Pacer. Basically how it works is students run back and forth across the gym and must get across the room by the sound of a beep. The intervals get shorter, and one is supposed to drop out if they miss the beep twice or get too exhausted to go on. No breaks or drinks of water.

So, I realize that this is a fairly stupid question, but does anyone know if this test actually tells much? I know that our teacher grades us on how long we can run, (or at least uses it to take account of our fitness), but it seemed to me not to be the greatest. Students got bored and dropped out, and others got such a sore throat from not having any water or time to swallow that they had to drop out because of that. I for one (but not just me)had a sore throat for three hours after the test.

Does this seem flawed to anyone else? I've noticed the problems every year.

I dont know if i have the constraints right.
For this problem there is no money amount


Bond A has a return of 7.75%
Bond B has a return of 12%

Invest at least 35% of total amount in Bond A
Find a mix of bonds to obtain at least 8.25% in return on entire amount.

what percentage should be allocated in each bond???

Constraints:

A>35%
A+B>65%


I'm really confused :( :(
