When I was younger and I was raised in a very conservative Christian family, typically, I tried to rebel against what I was told. The harder they told me I had to be this person, the harder I would rebel. Going to a Christian school a liberal point of view just wasn’t excepted. I would bring up evolution in science class, and even brought up the possibility God didn’t exist in Bible class. I soon realized that in most incidents I was doing this just to be a rebel. I didn’t have any sense of what I really believed in.

Let's say one came in for a virus problem and his or her computer was working but was going slow just that...however, when the ppl who works for the school try to fix it, they broke it (pwr cant turn on anymore) and say it wasnt their fault b/c itz already in a road to have problems...
Anyhow, would they be responsible in any case like this? (i just want to ask this question in another ppl's point of view on how ya would see this)

The word “moderate” can take on many forms. Moderate amount of ingredients in food and even a moderate price for clothes. When I think of the word moderate, I think of it in terms of being political. What does politically moderate means? One may see it as being liberal on social issues, and conservative on fiscal issues. Others may see it as being liberal on fiscal issues, and conservative on social issues. A few, as I do, feel as being moderate mean finding a middle ground on any issue.

What with globalisation/globalization and all, do you think that will ever happen?

I'm staring at the Oxford/APA/Chicago Manuals on my desk right now and... well, it's just daunting...

Just curious about their approach. Do they help children that may be struggling in reading or math? By chldren, I'm talking about early elementary. Or would it be more advisable to find a local teacher to hire privately?

Hello, I work with a family (I'm the home health aide and also the one on one aide for school) who has a disabled little girl who is seven years old. She has autism, severe develpmental delay, seizure disorder, vision problems, heart problems, bleeding disoder, non-verbal, sensory processing disorder, etc. Her family is having a very hard time finding an appropriate classroom for her to be in. The closest thing we have found right now is a county program where she has to be on the bus an hour each way. She lives in the walnut district, but that district has no low functioning classrooms, only very high functioning. The district and the county have both told the parents that homeschooling their daughter is out of the question. Is this legal? If the parents aren't happy with the situation and there is no alternative isn't it their choice as to where they want their daughter educated? This little girl also has private therapies at home.Anyone have any advice?

For my honors english class we have to do a research paper on a book that made an impact on American culture from 1865-2007. It can be a biograpy or autobiograpy. It can't be a play, The Great Gatsby, or The Scarlet letter. I really have no idea what to do it on. My paper is going to have to talk about the "Cultural, Historical, and Literay impact on American culture." Any help would be much appreciated.
