i am on the school's sweetheart dance court automatically because i am the parish (im from louisiana, i think its called county) student of the year. i am too embarrassed to ask anyone, but what all do you usually do if u are on court?

i know a few people that i go to school with that god a PADDLING.
i thought that stopped in elementry school.
why do school's still do that to HIGH schoolers?

A lobbyist was trying to get a farmer-legislator to vote against funds for the state university. He asked the farmer if he knew that his daughter would be forced to matriculate in front of other students. Further did he know that she would be expected to let faculty examine her thesis. I have read that businesses are looking for graduates to head their management programs and such that have backgrounds in economics, finance, and accounting rather than plan BBA in Management.

If I were planning on climbing the ladder once I got out of college, what would be the best major to market myself with? I have no plans on becoming a CPA unless I cannot find a suitable starting location/position.

when writing or typing...you automatically skip one word ahead of yourself....it's like 2 steps forwards, then one step back ?
An example of this is...... waht....whrer....whne...(what, where, when)....and although u can read it well yourself u only see this when u read it back........and doesn't that make us better at Anagrams!??

We just started Hamlet. At first it was like pulling teeth to get them motivated, but now that we've started they are on a roll. Reading it is so much fun now. Shakespeare can be difficult but we do have a cheatsheet in modern English in case we are all stuck on what is going on. They love reading parts in the play. They will put on different voices for each character. Now my question is: Are there any projects they can work on connected with Hamlet that they can work on when I'm not at home. Any ideas would be apprectiated. Thanks

I am currently on an apprenticeship which is great as i get both experience and the theroy at the same time. which will make it easier to get a job.

But what i dont understand is why do UNI students look down on us as tho we are under qualified just because we dont go to university, as we can in our third year, but we choose not to as we will find it hard going to uni and still working full time.

I have met a lot of uni students that have got the qualifications in uni but when they left uni they couldn't get a job in their chosen area, due to having no experience. but they still treat us apprentices like were not as qualified as them, even tho we probably are more qualified.

my boyfriend has a friend who has dropped out of uni to do an apprenticeship, which shows apprenticeships arn't that bad surely. Can you tell me why people have these views? and what are your views on this subject?

I'm doing a research paper, and my topic is predicting the next dark age.
My points are strong, but my thesis is weak. I need help coming up with a strong thesis. Thesis should include the following information:
the world's once most powerful countries - United States & Russia falling through into an economical, social, intellectual, and technological decline. what i'm using to argue my point:
immigration, exports/imports, technological advances, drug use, education being "dumbed down", teenage pregnancies, comparison to the fall of the Roman Empire, national debt.

My school(grade school) has had some very serious bullying issues that staff members are overlooking. I have not been bullied, but I've witnessed countless times during a day that other kids have, and in the most cruel of ways. I want to send a formal, anomynous letter to my school and explain to them these problems and suggest solutions. I just will include what exactly is going on, so they know. If they figure out I sent the letter, will I get in trouble? Is there some kind of human rights law that will make it okay? I'm not going to send anything mean or nasty- I just want to mention bullying issues.

Okay so, I have a gpa of 1.84 I think, I know it's low....well very low. I'm a sophomore currently and I want to bring it up, do you have any idea how long it would take for me to bring it up to a 3.0 or above? I plan on talking to my school counselor about it. Right now I'm just starting a new semester, last semester my lowest grade was a 73 (low D) in biology and my highest a 95 (low A) in english...should I take an advanced class next semester maybe....I'm just confused right now. My English class is having debates. My team of three is debating con animal testing. We have our main points and pictures but we need more. The other team is out to get me.
