Thesis help?

Question

I'm doing a research paper, and my topic is predicting the next dark age.
My points are strong, but my thesis is weak. I need help coming up with a strong thesis. Thesis should include the following information:
the world's once most powerful countries - United States & Russia falling through into an economical, social, intellectual, and technological decline. what i'm using to argue my point:
immigration, exports/imports, technological advances, drug use, education being "dumbed down", teenage pregnancies, comparison to the fall of the Roman Empire, national debt.


Help is GREATLY appreciated.

The United States and Russia, once the world's most powerful nations, are diminishing into an economical, social, intellectual, and technological decline due to their immigration issues, their exports and imports, technological advances, drug use, poor education, teenage pregnancies, and national debt forming a deep similarity to the fall of the Roman Empire.

While the world falls to pieces usual Americans sit down on the couch and watch the super bowl. America and Russia are the main industries and are making the world go mad! America and many other countries are using oil supplies from foreign countries too. While terrorists are in control the Americans and Russians and other big countries like China are just waiting for an attack. The Americans are also wasting their time and looking and peeking over at the middle east while many Mexicans just come and get a free job without their time to get an official citizen contract. Many Americans also are addicted to drugs. Tobacco helped many new comers to America in the 1600s but it has turned into a bad and addicting drug. Many drugs are the same, and even some make you happy when you are depressed! Education in America is also going the wrong way. While in one school people are arguing about a bible being brought into school, while in another school they are seeing children shoved into lockers and trash cans. Even children are getting abused. Teenage pregnancies are also getting into a bad situation. Teenagers are getting abortions from many bad things. This is bad because we are reducing the amount of babies being delivered in a normal amount of time. It is partly good because the population is already big but killing a baby is just wrong. This is the same as the Roman Empire falling. While America falls from all the bad thing s, Iran is building Nuclear Bombs and are making terrorists kill the Americans. This is the things that America is going through.

1) In 5 years China will overtake Russia or any other country as the strongest economy.

2) China is by far the largest polluter of the Planet Earth.

3) If China does not change overnight, and stop burning fossil fuel coal and Oil, and stop using the worlds resources to cover their country in Cement,

China will destroy the world without firing a single shot.

You are looking to the wrong country for the destruction of earth's resources enough to cause a "dark age."

The powerful Right Wing Agenda of all totalitarian states will destroy the world. Period.

Just think about it.
Right Wing: No such thing as Global Climate Change.
Right Wing: No such thing as Man Made Polution.
Right Wing: Refuse to Produce Solar and Wind Power Energy by lying to the people and saying it is "too expensive," when it is in reality the least expensive fuel to create and transport to every building/structure on earth.

Fundamentalist Right Wing Agenda: Destruction of the Planet Earth.

Look up the facts and begin again.

Well, it sounds to me like your thesis sentence should say that the next Dark Age is right around the corner unless we shape up in a number of areas--that is if you don't think that our society is already beyond hope.
