All the answers, with the exception of the banana one are correct...there is also a Cuban/Chinese restaurant on 9th Ave. by 17th st in NYC called Mi Chinita. It's all chinese guys with Spanish accents. The Ropa Vieja and Pork Carnitas were a couple of slices of culinary heaven!!! I don't know if it's still there, though; I've been out of New York six and a half years now.

I use that word. I am from South America and most latin american countries will use "chinita" referrring to someone who has asian looking eyes mostly because of China having a big population of asian looking eyes. It means china girl in sweet way because they look cute like little girls. Then you use chinito for the guys. If they don't necessarily feel they are cute they will just say..... so... where are you from?
