Okay, here's the one phenomenon that most affected language development and usage in MY lifetime (I'm 33):
"Valley Girl" - starring a very young Nicholas Cage.
Yes, the classic early-eighties movie that introduced the world to such terms as "like", "awesome", and "totally", among others. Not to mention wacky syntax. I think it can easily be argued that this movie influenced a change in the speech patterns of young people, thereby changing the language. People don't really do the "valley girl" thing anymore as a whole (gag me with a spoon, and all that), but these words have successfully been integrated into common speech patterns of most Americans under the age of 33.
Oh, and for the record: It's a TERRIBLE movie! :)

The English language became the English language when many countries came to the New World. Similar words are found in other languages that are in the English language.
This ok????

Depending on how brief or long you want the paper, you could trace the origin of swear words.
Aside from the F word (which apparently isn't Anglo Saxon - it's Nordic, blame the Vikings) You have-
Blimey (god blind me) Cobblers, and Bollocks (Check the lawsuit against the Sex Pistols- from the 18th C adventures of Reverend Bollocks and his *ss / mule)
Or do you want American references? Like the slang term for Nigerian slaves?

i might desire to not say which you will have not got any dilemma discovering a function with a level in commerce. enterprise majors are a dime a dozen, and you have gotten a similar undertaking getting a function with a commerce degree as with a historic previous or English degree for people who does not have the enjoy, valuable aspects and skills an corporation desires. And that's in many cases not a nicely concept to proper in in spite of that bores you. A bachelors degree in practically any field isn't a waste, even nevertheless the less immediately your degree prepares you for a focused technique, the better you will possibly desire to get waiting your self in my view by ability of attending to be attentive to careers and advance your CV on the component. an outstanding sort of jobs only opt to look any degree, even nevertheless they are going to opt to look significant enjoy as solid, so as which you're able to be able to might desire to get jobs or internships in industries that interest you. you will additionally opt to be waiting to particular what you obtained out of your degree so as that it will assist you on your technique. the swifter you are able to artwork out what sort of technique you ultimately desire and what's had to get it, the bigger waiting you would be at the same time as you graduate.
