I missed my Health class today... it's every Friday for 3 & 1/2 hours... so I'm worried I missed A LOT. Should I email the instructor to find out if I should do any reading/preparation for next Fridays class? I'm worried about going next week now. How should I word the email? Thanks.

I think that they might possibly have to lower their requirements,because i see people less and less kids at my school actually might the requirments,but i am counting like gpa.I thinking more about the advanced(cp)and honor classes(ap) and with all the math credits.
Maybe i am wrong,though i live in Alabama,just seems to me,that colleges will have to lower their requirements.Or kids are just being lazy,because most of the kids at my school want to go to community college then transfer out.
Do is that a common thing?\
And why are more people going to community colleges?

I am going in as an adult student. I want a job like counsellor, life coach, social worker, beahvior therapist.. something like that. So I enrolled in a BA with a major in psycology... So after I take that, do I then continue on to a masters in a specific area?

Please help me understand. That is alot of school. The BA is 4 years.. but the social worker program is 4 years with no BA. To be a counsellor, you can just take 2 years of courses, no BA...

So why take the BA? I don't understand how the system works....

I live in Bellevue, WA and I want to go to a good private unversity in the King County area near Bellevue. What are some really good private universities? Is Seattle university good? Northwest? if anone has any thoughts on where I can find some research, it would be great. How it works- get a plate of water, float amilk lid w/ a wooden match in it. then light the match and cover it up w/ a glass. The water will be sucked up into the glass as the fire pulls in the air. I'm part of a trivia club at school. I'm a science, movies, literature+wordplay, gen. knowl. guy, and my friend is a popcul., music, gen. knowl. guy.

We've been attending practices/meetings all year. Now that try-outs for the Team are coming up, and other...not so committed ppl are trying out for the team, we've discovered a huge gap in our knowledge pool. We forgot history and geo! After much studying, we've learned all the capitals and largest rivers of the continents. Unfortunately, that's it. To make things worse, history and geo are showing up a lot in formal games.

There are two history/geography buff's trying out, and whether I'm being biased or not, I don't like them very much. They seem full of themselves. Between the two of them, they seem to know every obscure historical and geographical fact related to humanity.

I need a plan or method of learning at least a portion of what they know. I've been working towards this all year, and I can't lose. Help! Any ideas?

It is momentous that we consider his view.

Momentous, i think, means important.
according to dictionary.com

but is there a reason that the sentence might NOT be right because I used it on the SAT (writing section) and I think that maybe lowered my score. idk plz help.

If you know the word by experience, it would be of better help then to check dictionary websites. ( i already know how to do that)
