Okay so I haven't been tested for it yet but a specialist in the field says I have the warning signs. What Is a nonverbal learning disability? How do you get tested? I'm in advanced general ed. If I got diagnosed would I be transfered for that?

Are they seriously hoping everyone else will do their homework for them?! Shame on the kids for not learning, but double shame on the parents for not enforcing it!

I'm going to college, but am still confused about LOTS of things that nobody taught us in school. I keep hearing traditional and non-traditonal students and want to know the difference.

Something like, "What was the highest mountain before Mt Everest was discovered?" or similar. Not too hard but the sort that generates a lot of thought and you say "doh" when you hear the right answer.

(setting of To Kill a Mockingbird) It was impossible to live in maycomb in the 1930's without being racially prejudice. I disagree with this and I need to make a 5 paragraph essay on how to not live with racial prejudice in this setting. The person that gives me the best startout essay wins, or at least the best ideas. Oh, and if possible I have to use at least 4 quotes from the book that shows racial prejudice. But, that's okay if you can't find any, no worries. Thank you very much!!!!!!! May the best writer win!

Sometimes, I really feel that there's no point in them. When we take a test, we only have to memorize the information for a short while, just long enough to take the test. We can look over it just before the test, or the night before and still get a 100. It doesn't really measure your knowledge. I mean, I get 100s on a lot of tests because all I have to do is memorize, but it's pretty pointless. You barely have to know any concepts, because you just go over everything in class.

The way school and tests are is good for me because I have a good short-term memory, but I still don't really like tests.
