Sometimes, I really feel that there's no point in them. When we take a test, we only have to memorize the information for a short while, just long enough to take the test. We can look over it just before the test, or the night before and still get a 100. It doesn't really measure your knowledge. I mean, I get 100s on a lot of tests because all I have to do is memorize, but it's pretty pointless. You barely have to know any concepts, because you just go over everything in class.

The way school and tests are is good for me because I have a good short-term memory, but I still don't really like tests.

Sure some are pointless, but really, isn't that the only reason why you study?

I don't believe tests are pointless. However, I do find discussions on the subject pointless because as the previous responder said - that is the reason why we study anyway - just to be tested in some way. Its nice to know you get 100s - however, there are plenty of other students who aren't.

Good Luck!!!
