Momentous, i think, means important.
according to dictionary.com

but is there a reason that the sentence might NOT be right because I used it on the SAT (writing section) and I think that maybe lowered my score. idk plz help.

If you know the word by experience, it would be of better help then to check dictionary websites. ( i already know how to do that)

Im a junior in highschool. I just found out i have a 2.5 G.P.A. I want to go to college. i really need a 3.7 by graduation and i need help i need advice on what to do. I am super desperate. (links or info on books that i can buy would also help)

I'm actually an international student in the US on a student visa and I got expelled from a college more than two years ago. I transfered to a university where I only studied English for a semester - I needed to improve my English!!! After that I transferred to a two-year community college where I'm currently studying.

My grades at the community college are great and I'm actually in the president's list which is a huge success since I was expelled. Now I want to transfer to a four-year school so that I can get a Bachelor's degree. Now's the time for the application process; however, one of the questions in the applications is whether I've been expelled. I don't know what to put for that question - the truth or lie???

My concern is if I list that I've been expelled the admission officers might not give me an admission? What can you suggest? Should I do that?

I also want not to mention at all that I've studied in my initial school but I guess there's a record of everything!HELP

My friends and I have a tutoring group and we are trying to advertise for it. What's the best way to do this. We have a flyer in the library but we haven't gotten any calls or anything. Do you have any suggestions on what we should do . I want to ask the librarian if we could put something in the kids section of the library too because I think it might be better and attract more business. Is there anyway to advertise online? (Besides YahooAnswers) Without having to create a website or give out personal information? Please help!!

It does not recognize words that exist such as snape which means to bevel the end of a timber. It is selective in the abbreviations it recognizes as well.

A third time. Let me try this again. I am 21 and my professor is 31 (do not comment on age because it's not an issue with me). I know I should wait until after the semester, you don't have to tell me otherwise. It's not a crush. I'm in love (and he's not married). I've known him for almost 2 yrs. How can I tell if a man, one whom is expected to act professional in his field, might be even a LITTLE BIT interested or attracted? Sometimes when we make eye contact and smile, he walks over. He probably isn't interested, but sometimes I get LITTLE vibes he may take some sort of interest, but I could be wrong. What signs can I look for? I feel dumb for asking, but I am a serious and very introverted person and need some tips on noticing certain signs (even things he may do subconsciously). I am not the sort to tell him how I feel, nor will I ask him out. If he was truly interested, he'd ask me for coffee.

Mature advice please. What do I look for? Even for future reference?
