I need a short quote for a yearbook baby picture spread for graduating 6th graders: good quotes used in recent years were "Here's looking at you kid" "You've come a long way baby." I need something catchy along those lines - but nothing religious or too sappy. :)

The person does not have to be a teacher but possess good English skills. This is not tutoring for someone who is learning English. English is the first language. What the person who is getting tutored would like to learn is English grammar and punctuation. Right now the person's English skill can be said to be at "B" level but wants the skill to progress to "A+". A person who has successfully tutored before is being sought.

The collective bargaining power and political clout of teachers unions allow teachers to receive contracts that often run to more than 100 pages, and are filled with provisions for high wages, fantastic health benefits and retirement packages, generous time off, total job security, teacher transfer and assignment rights, restrictions on how teachers can be evaluated, restrictions on nonclassroom duties, and countless other rules that shackle the discretion of administrators. These contracts make the schools costly to run, heavily bureaucratic, and extremely difficult for administrators to manage. They also ensure that even the most incompetent teachers are virtually impossible to remove from the classroom. The public school system, as a result, is not even remotely the kind of institution one would design if the best interests of students were the guiding criterion. What can be done to fight these organisations?

My counselor found out, and I'm seeing her Monday about it. I had told my P.E. teacher that the one note I showed her was good for the rest of the week. In truth, I was at my counselor's office all the days I missed P.E., but she never met with me, because she's busy 24/7. I didn't have a note for the days she didn't see me, but I had tell my P.E. coach I did, or else risk getting a B. The way things are now, I could possibly fail P.E. Should I explain that I was in the counseling office to my P.E. teacher and counselor, or just apologize and forget it?
