Sorry. This was meant to be a general knowledge question. I have no personal axe to grind. Thanks.

The buses belong to and are operated by the public school system and as the private school is part of a different system, probably not.

Your question is very much a 'local' one....and requires a local answer.

My best guess as to the answer is NO.

There are probably those who would emphasize the 'no public funds for private uses' argument...but, these days, it is probably not allowed due to potential litigation in the event of an accident.

Your question does not say if this is a 'general knowledge' query...or a personal question involving your child. I imagine there may be exceptions in 'unusual and special cases'. Call the private school first....then your local school board.

I am thinking that the bus was paid for by tax payers and the private school kids' parents paid taxes so the kids should be allowed . . .
But the bureaucrats may say differently , so challenge it if they do.

You probably could but it would be complicated and a little awkward for the school system.

I doubt it. Private school would have their own buses.
