My friends and I have a tutoring group and we are trying to advertise for it. What's the best way to do this. We have a flyer in the library but we haven't gotten any calls or anything. Do you have any suggestions on what we should do . I want to ask the librarian if we could put something in the kids section of the library too because I think it might be better and attract more business. Is there anyway to advertise online? (Besides YahooAnswers) Without having to create a website or give out personal information? Please help!!

Put up a colorful attractive post on all the public school bulletin boards! Put them anywhere people post information on bulletin boards! It will also help to put adds in the paper! Word of mouth is what will get you rolling! Make it fun, because you learn the most when you enjoy it! Good Luck!

I would try to target the parents and not the kids.

1) parents are the ones who are going to pay for it
2) parents should recongize when the kids need help
(kids might not know better)
3) parents want thier own kids to be the best

Try different ideas in your own market and see what works best before hitting out on the internet.

You can try google adwords and advertise on there. You set your budget and size target market. Just come up with some target words like "Primary Tutors" ect

Great idea. I am proud of you.

You may think about getting a letter of reference/character from your principal or teachers, then stopping at the elementary school and introducing yourself to the principal or vice principal. Give him/her some flyers that he can share with teachers.
