i have to submit my essay, and first line of each paragraph should be indented five spaces(one tab),and there should not be any skipped lines. i have tried to do this but it is not happening.please someone instruct me exectly how to do this.

In the paragraph or page layout section of your program, there should be something which discusses spacing. As for indenting, you should be able to indent simply by spacing or using the tab key. If you still have troubles use the help menu on your program.

Get on your place to type and push tab and it will intend it. It should work. Hope this helps!

What application are you using? Word, WordPerfect, OpenOffice, a typewriter?
