I did horrible on a Math test. I've been reviewing my work all week and studied for so long..and I still did bad. This gave me a major confidence blow because I've worked so hard for a good mark and I still did bad. Can someone please help...I feel like I should give up completely and just get bad marks with low expectations rather than recieve a bad mark with good expectations...What should I do? Anyone ever felt this way before? What did you do?

My friend and I have an argument about this. Not really, I had just never heard of this rule. As you can see, I press the period key and then hit space only once and then start a new sentence. She presses space twice. Is there an actual rule about this? If so, which one of us is correct? If there's not a rule, which one is generally considered "better?" I'm not asking for a general opinion, so unless you're a professor please back up what your opinion.

Im 24 years old and a high school droup out. I now have 2 childreen and understand how important it is to have an education. I want to get a high school diploma online but there are way to many to choose from and thay are not cheep i cant go to ged classes that are free because me and my husband only have 1 car and i dont have a babysister nor the money to pay one will someone please tell me what is out there?

We had conferences last night for my 8th grader. There was a lot of missing work for two classes. When I got home I went thru a folder of stuff that we had gotten back from the teacher that had been graded. I found two things for one class. So today I emailed the teacher and asked how I could have the graded copy, yet the school records show the work is missing.

She did not apologize, but just said she was glad we had kept the returned work and he needed to re-submitt it for the grade to reflect on school records.

I don't think this is fair. If I would not have had the graded paper, my son would have had to re-do the work to get credit. Does anyone else have this problem? I guess I will have to start keeping everything until the quarter is done and I know he got credit for the work.

Let me know if you have any suggestions on how to handle this situation.
