I hear that Mantra should be destroyed or leave your hand within 96 hours. Why 96 hours, and where this 96 hour came from?
Does anyone know?

A mantra is like a prayer. You keep in it in your mind and heart, always. Om mani padme hum. That's a mantra. You repeat it over and over in a meditative state. Cards will win the series, Cards will win the series, etc.

Are you sure you haven't fallen victim to web based urban legend chain e-mail chicanery? For example an e-mail might read, "The mantra for today is: 'More insurgents means we're making progress in Iraq'. Pass this on to everyone in your e-mail address book within 96 hours and Haliburton will make billions more dollars. If you fail to pass this mantra on, evil Liberals will poison more minds with actual facts."
