you need to use BODMAS
that is: brackets, other, division/multiplication, addition/subtraction
this is the ORDER OF OPERATION to solve maths
first take out any brackets, then anything else (eg indices), then divide or multiply (if more than one, do it in the order they come), then add or subtract

therefore, for this problem you FIRST divide 8 by 4
THEN you multiply 2 by 0
THEN you add them together

8/4=2
2x0=0

2+0=2

Use order of operations...Multiplication and division 1st...then addition and subtraction....

8 / 4 + 2 * 0

2 + 0

In problems like this, you should first do the DIVISION operation (i.e. 8/4) and then multiplication (2x0) and in the end you add and/or subtract as teh case may be. Hope this helps! Good luck.
