From one Sunday babe to another:
The child that is born on the Sabbath day
Is bonny, and blithe, and good, and gay.

Monday's child is fair of face Tuesday's child is full of grace Wednesday's child is full of woe Thursday's child has far to go Friday's child is loving and giving Saturday's child works hard for a living But the child that's born on Sabbath day Is bonny and blithe, good and gay I am certain of this, because I just happened to be born on Monday and Tuesday, and Thursday and Friday, and Saturday. I skipped Wednesday because it was no fun, and well, nobody likes a Sunday, do they? Just too good to be true! :o)

Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go.
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child works hard for a living,
And the child that is born on the Sabbath Day,
Is bonny and blithe and good and gay

Monday's child is fair of face, Tuesday's child is full of grace, Wednesday's child is full of woe, Thursday's child has far to go, Friday's child works hard for a living, Saturday's child is loving and giving, but the child that is born on the Sabbath day is blithe and bonny and good and gay. There! I recited that from memory -- my mum used to say it to me decades ago. Best wishes. BTW, I hope it's true that you, as Sunday's child, are all of those good things, but the profile doesn't always work. I'm a Wednesday's child and I'm not full of woe at all. ;-)

The poem goes:
Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace;
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go;
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child works hard for its living;
But the child that is born on the Sabbath day
Is bonny and blithe, and good and gay.
So it sounds like, according to this poem, you're supposed to be pretty and happy and kind.

You want to be thankful you were born on a Sunday. I was a Wednesday child, and have been living up to it for 25 years.
