I am curious to know how far we can go with this. I will start with one word. The next person continues the sentence with one word and if it continues for long enough, could we write a short story.
Just associate your word with the previous one. I will try to piece a draft together if enough people join in.

Can you please put the number next to the word.
Example: Third box said "to" so you put the number as a continuation.
Many thanks.

The word is.........what.

I'm a freshman in High School but I'm working so hard to achieve my dreams of becoming a dermatologist. I've been doing researches on the medical schools in Florida and I've got some helpful information but I'd like to get some advices from real people. Is there anything I can do in high school to help with getting into a really good medical school like the University of Miami School Of Medicine? Because that's where I want to go to. I'm probably going to be taking medical skills through out my years in high school but I feel that college is just around the corner and I'd like to plan my future as much as possible. Thank you for your help!

Okay, so I was doing some surfing on a completely different subject and ran across this page on wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kuk.

What really caught my eye was the final paragraph:
"An interesting, though perhaps unrelated fact is that on the Portuguese islands of the Azores, "kuk" is a verb meaning "to unintentionally spray ketchup". It is popularily used to point out and ridicule people who spill the red sauce. A phrase commonly uttered at dinner tables on the islands is – "O haha, ele kuk.""

Now my first thought was... they have such severe ketchup-spillage issues over there that they had to create a word just to describe it? That's hilarious!

My question to you is: what weird words do we have like that in English - a word that is completely pointless and used for unusual circumstances, but one that we just HAD to have?

I'm trying to decide whether to continue college or not. I'll tell you a bit about me, as I’m not really your typical college freshman.
I started my first business at 15 years old selling collectible cards online and later went to start a magazine for young entrepreneurs, which grew to 7 columnists.
Most recently I started non-profit organization for charities, which grew to about 10 people and landed some impressive clients while appearing on press.
I *was forced to* major in engineering (long story). The course load sucked away all my time to pursue my own endeavors.
Hence, I'm thinking of whether to even finish college, as it seems like a total waste of time. I haven't made millions yet, but I DID succeed in a number of other things. Getting very influential people to take serious a guy at my age seriously is NOT easy, but I managed to do it.
Should I continue college? Are the years better off on business? Thanks!

My school has decided to have a beach theme this year. I have decided to make a bulletin board outside of my room using real kites, but I want to tie this board into the beach theme? I am also using Goofy in my room this year, so I would like to tie this in somehow. Any ideas on making my board look like Goofy is flying a kite on the beach? I also have to make room to display student work.

I get mostly A's in school, I participate in activites such as varsity sports, orchestra, band, and karate, volunteer work. I also took many honors and AP courses and got high grades in those. HOWEVER, my SAT scores are terrible (in the 430-480 range) and I don't think I can get into the elite colleges
I wanted to go to with those scores. What are my alternatives?
