I'm just looking for a free education for an adult basically, I don't know if such a thing exists but I used all my financial aid the first 2 times through school and want to know if this is possible.

in etymology, some dic and encylopedias refers to the origin of this word as [French, from Italian salone, augmentative of sala, hall, of Germanic origin.]
does the word the word (Sala) means (hall) in German? if so is it loan word or original one? i do not understand German but in Arabic we say (Salon) when refer to the (parlor) and (Salah) means (wide place) or (reception room). Any linguist here, What do u think?

I heard it on a tv show yesterday and as the person said it i looked at my wife and she didn't think anything was wrong with it. The person was refering to a family member, she said "she couldn't even hardly walk". Am I wrong here or is that not proper grammar?
