Pi is the ratio of a circle's diameter to its circumference (pi = c/d). You can approximate pi by 22/7, but to obtain a proper value of pi, draw a circle, measure the circumference and the diameter and divide the circumference by the diameter.

It's 3.141592653589, and it's used to calculate circumferences, area, and radius of circles (I think, haven't used it in a while). You can do a Google search for "pi", and there are plenty of sites with information and like the first million digits of pi. (The number of digits is infinite).

It's a number with an infinite amount of decimals. It starts off with 3.14 but goes on forever without any recurring patterns. It's the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter.
