I am currently a junior in college and I have plans of pursuing my undergraduate studies far from home, could be in the U.S.

Do you like sharing your room or apparent with another person? I think is very weird and uncomfortable to me. I prefer an apparent for myself but if there's not enough money at the moment then I will share it with someone else, what the hell. I am afraid we will never be friends or the person is very disorganized and problematic.

I have family in the states but they are freaking crazy and I rather keep a safe distance from them. Would have been better if they were "normal" people but Oh I was blessed with this family.

My mother shared her room with a bunch of roommates and she told me it was a growing experience but I don't know about me since I view life from a different angle and I always have trouble "relating" to people and build strong bonds.

Tell me your experiences. Did you liked sharing dorms with a room mate? What are the ups and downs?

"Affectation of candour is common enough— one meets with it everywhere. But to be candid without ostentation or design— to take the good of everybody's character and make it still better, and say nothing of the bad— belongs to you alone." Thanks for any help!

I never seem to be able to find enough time to work full time and attend college full time. I am 21 and really want to earn a degree to help accelerate my earnings. I have heard many different stories about attending online schools, such as they are not looked upon well by employers. The whole aspect of being able to work on school whenever I have time, not driving as much (killer Gas Prices), and being able to studying almost anywhere is attractive to me. What bothers me is not having the social experience that traditional college and university have. That is something I am willing to give up to be able to find time and earn a degree in Business and Finance. If anyone has any information on online schools or maybe just some advice on the subject please let me know. If someone out there has attended an online university, your advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone =)

You are an employee at a large commercial organization which has decided to cut back on its expenditures on travel for meetings by investing in a series of videoconferencing technologies. A new coordinating committee is formed to discuss how to alter organizational procedures to take advantage of this new technology.

Sample issues to investigate:
- should meetings be permanently archived and referenced for promotion/firing decisions by HR?
- should companies be allowed to monitor employee's use of videoconferencing as they do Internet and e-mail?
- what kinds of unanticipated problems and opportunities might arise from the use of this technology?
- how might the introduction and deployment of new technologies impact their adoption and use
