My school has decided to have a beach theme this year. I have decided to make a bulletin board outside of my room using real kites, but I want to tie this board into the beach theme? I am also using Goofy in my room this year, so I would like to tie this in somehow. Any ideas on making my board look like Goofy is flying a kite on the beach? I also have to make room to display student work.

Have a small Goofy getting carried away by a whole bunch of kites, maybe getting pulled off the beach out to sea (lol) ... one kite for each student.

Have the students each draw or write a response on their kite to a beach-themed book you have read with your class.

I just used kites on a bulletin board in my preschool class. I had them all cut out their own diamonds that they then decorated. We taped them up with the words "Soaring into Summer". You could use "Soaring High At The Beach" or Flying Into Beach Fun".
Hope this helped. Good luck.

You could have Snoopy on the beach flying the kite over the top of the bulletin board. It could be really cute and you could have the kid's decorate the clouds.
