MBA Student needs advice on ways to make money while in school?

Im in an MBA program this fall and didnt plan on being in school..but theres no time like the present right? Soo...refund check wont come til Oct....so im looking for ways that others students have made money while in school...i had to quit my job as Marketing Manager for a company and now have to survive for 2 months with no income....time for the hustler in me to come out...all legal though..im a good guy..lol...let me know what you guys can think of and how u made it....no multi level marketing neither...thanks

Depending on how much money you need, there are various ways to make money while you're in school.

You need to assume that you'll be spending a lot of time in school, in your study group, on schoolwork, AND on socializing. That does not leave a lot of time for work, so your best bet is to make more bang for your buck.

Try to use your expertise in marketing to get some sort of consulting job that you can do on your own time, and where you can make a lot of money per hour. Perhaps your old job will take you on to work on some projects when you have time? If not, list yourself out, or schmooze with your new professors to see if they have any contacts in the industry that will need some part time help.

The best is to try to get work that allows you to do it from home when you have time, because time will be limited.

You can also look for work through the school, such as research work from the various professors that are there. I did some work for an Executive in Residence (essentially, a professional who spends a few hours at the business school a week to be a networking contact for the students).

You should also try to apply for some scholarships. I haven't tried this, but there should be a ton associated with business schools, and they're at least worth a look.

If you did really well on the GMAT, you can consider teaching at it at Kaplan or Princeton Review. They pay a lot by the hour (after you go through trianing).

I always worked in offices for part-time. Since you have been a marketing manager before I'm sure no one would mind hiring you at a lower position (after all, it's just part-time). I don't know what skills you have but for me, my language proficiency, computer skills, sales skills, and great personality got me an office job at 15 dollars an hour.

I finally decided to read one of these articles in an internet newsgroup describing how to make $50,000.00 in only one month from a $5.00 investment.

Well, two weeks later, I began receiving money in the mail! I couldn't believe it! Not just a little , I mean big bucks! At first only a few hundred dollars, then a week later, a couple of thousand , then BOOM . By the end of the fourth week , I had received nearly $47,000.00. It came from all over the world. And every bit of it perfectly legal and on the up and up. I've been able to pay off all my bills and still had enough left over for a nice vacation for me and my family.
